Hi

Can anyone explain remote access on the Ipldk Nexer please?

Thanks in advance

Joe

Remote access can be done to the ipLDK-24's internal ISDN2 (BRI) modem or the analogue modem, if installed.
Also you can install an ADSL and connect to the ipLDK-24 throgh a router.
Onsite you just use your laptop and connect throgh your browser to the ip address of the ipLDK-24 (Nexer).
An userID and password is required to connect to the Nexer.
So, for this product no special program is required to connect to the Nexer.

Can you explain the nexer remote working on anlogue lines please?

Thanks

Joe

The Nexer should be in H/W revision 3.0. (S/W 3.0 to 3.7).
An analogue modem can be added inside the PBX near slot 1.
This modem is a small PCB (1cm by 2cm).

Hi Doktor

Thanks for that, what is the procedure for connecting remotely from my pc, what if any software will i need?

Thanks again

Joe

You just need the Internet Explorer!
Dial-up through your XP PC to the LDK-24 and use the Internet Explorer to logon after the ISDN line is connected. So infact you make a PPP connection between the PC and the LDK-24.
Use an USB-ISDN modem, they are easier to get to work than the serial ones.
