Roaming Profile Issue?!?!

Ok. My office moved and when I tranferred the servers and workstations to the new building, users profiles started 'dissappearing'? User that have had good user profiles forever were suddenly being treated as new users and if they logged out before I could backup their profile on the server, the older one was overwritten with the 'new' user profile.

Any ideas?

New subnets & PDC name?
Anything that changed will affect the issue...

Nope. Didn't change anything. Just picked up, moved everything, plugged it all in as before and had users login.

Thing is, since I've made this post, they've dropped profiles again!?!?

Anyone have any ideas!?!?!?

We had a similar problem in one of our buildings. It turned out that a switch was malfunctioning, so the NT workstations couldn't contact the server with the profiles, so new profiles were generated. Check your network equipment...
