Scripting with parameters

I notice the default MOM scripts have parameters that can be used.

When I add a new parameter I am only able to edit the parameter in the actual "edit script" windows. With the default scripts in Mom you can edit the parameters on the main rule window.

Has anyone ever used script parameters in MOM? And can you describe the process?
