Don't worry about it. The files listed are all configuration files or log files, so these will change from the original RPM files. This results in giving the errors you see. Just a quick explanation of each "problem":

group
Group ownership of the file has changed. This was probably done by a sysadmin for ease of use. If it bothers you, find out what the correct group should be and change it.

file size/modification time
Pretty self explanatory, but it leads to the next "problem". Reasons for the change include: it's a log file or the sendmail configuration has been changed.

md5
MD5 is a method of computing a unique hash value for a file based upon it's contents. As the contents of the listed files have changed, their current MD5 value will be different.

I am the sysadmin(root).
what can I do to make sendmail work for me. suggest me something to make it work perfectly & my users don't face any problem in in their pop3 accounts.

If your user's are having trouble with POP3, then it's not a sendmail problem. Sendmail deals with SMTP only. Check in [tt]/etc/inetd.conf[/tt] for a line beginning with "pop3". This will tell you the name of the POP3 daemon that you are running.

If the pop3 line is commented out, or not even in inetd.conf, then you'll need to have a dig around in the startup scripts in [tt]/etc/rc.d/rc?.d[/tt] to find the name of the pop3 program.

If you can find that out, and post back with the name of the program and a description of the problems you are having, we'll see if we can help :)
