SQL Server Express - Will it run on XP Home?

The answer may be somewhere in the Microsoft site, but...

I'm wanting to learn more about SQL and plan to install the desktop engine. The MSDE implementation of SQL 2000 is stated to run using Win XP Home Edition, whereas its successor, SQL Server 2005 Express is stated to require Win XP Professional.

Can someone advise if the 2005 flavor will run on my XP Home PC and save me some time?

If the 2k5 Express version specifically states XP Pro, then I would not try it on home. My experience has been that apps designed for XP Pro tend to work a little then bomb out at the worst possible time on XP Home.
