SSA - Voice Networking Errors ?

IP500 5.0.8 / VMPro 5.0.21
Single site - Incoming ring direct to Main hunt group.

2-3 Errors immediate every time calls come into the Hunt group. I know SSA has had issue with fake errors, but I can't see any cause/relation at the sec. Anyone else having this specific error?

"Attempt to use a feature for wich no license is installed. License type: IP500 Voice Networking Channels"
 
i have seen it a bunch lately. i just ignore it on single sites.

I think you still have the "Standard to Pro" licence in which is not valid anymore because you've uprgaded to5.0(8) You try to remove it and give it a reboot. Not sure if it fixes it but you could try.

I saw that one. Single site with no IP lines created however.
 
SSA is good, as long as you take the info with a pinch of salt, you can use it for active calls,pinging and extension stats to see what ports are spare etc most other things can't be trusted :)

i trust it less and less each time i use it.

Yesterday it was showing me a bunch of active calls, about 10, all of which were correct, but looking at the trunks showed all channels as being out of service for 10 days. :)

See what my brain does when it's not thinking about phones.
 
I think you were looking at you own appearence keys Tom, that was actually the last time you did any work...so the stats were correct :)

Outch ,1-0 in this difficult fight

SSA hasit's bugs but can be very handy
I like it but it will never replace monitor

It would be nice if Monitor could be embedded into SSA...

Why would you like that ?
SSA needs Java and monitor is just plain text
I think that monitor will not be reliable enough anymore

I dunno, one less application? Also there is an element of tracing within SSA. It would be nice if this was up to the level of detail as Monitor. Having it abbreviated does help though as I'm sure we've all looked at traces where there are about 20 calls going one and it's a complete nightmare to follow in the trace!

Every call has it's own call id
Select that call id and press F4 (filter)
This will filter out that call and the rest will nto be shown

I tried tracing in SSA and it misses half the dialled digits even though they have been dialled as the call is successfull etc, it's will be fantastic if they get it fully working and reliable :)
