Stability of internet explorer

I have Internet Explorer 6.0.2800.1106xpsp2.021108-1929, with update versions SP1;Q324929;Q810847;Q813951;Q813489;Q330994; - I use Windows Update. I know, all my fault!

My question is: does anyone else find that IE is becoming more unstable?

I find it crashes out more and more frequently, so much so I use Mozilla(Mozilla 1.3-Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312) and Opera(Bork!!- the help about is hilarious - Ferseeun7.02 Booeeld2658 Bork ideeshun Pletffurm Veen32 System Veendoos XP ) in preference.

Uninstall Q813489, then under Add/Remove Programs do a REPAIR of IE.

And there are many Dutch speakers who do not find the Help section of Opera in any way funny.

Why Q813489,(thanks for any information) or did you mean Q811493 which has been causing a lot of problems?

How to Reinstall or Repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP (Q318378)

You can reinstall IE in Windows XP by clicking Start, Run and entering the following command:

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 c:\windows\inf\ie.inf

You will need to have your XP CD available. If you re-install remember to update it.

Using SFC /Scannow at the command prompt will help in repairing IE.

No longer will I rely on memory alone for those numbers, and mis-type that mistake too boot. Yes, I meant Q811493.

Thankyou all for your contributions. I had no idea that some Dutch speakers were without a sense of humour, has anyone any evidence of their displeasure?
