Ipoffice 406V2 with 3.059 and 6408D stations, problem is that if a station is busy, and when a other phone calls the busy station, he's not get a busy tone.

Although I agree totaly with intrigant's respons a more indepth explanation is that each call aperance key is treated ass a dedicated line to the extn, if a call is made to the extn and it has a spare call aperance key then that key will ring. this causes a whole heap of problems to people who expect a busy phone to be busy (everey one on the planet exapt the USA)

If you give a phone only 1 apperance key then you will only recieve 1 call at a time but will be unable to transfer calls (not a lot of use). removing ALL aperance keys will make the extn behave like a standard pot phone, unfortunatly the redial & call log functions expect a free apperance key & will no longer work

F*&%@$g call apperance keys!

Funny thing is if you ring an extension that has one busy call appearance, it call waits on the second call appearance.

If you program a user button, it will be underlined (busy)
If you press this button it will give you options to call wait, callback etc.

If only on the IPO.... when you ring an internal extension, with call appearances, when one was busy it gave you the same options (like every other system)

Hope this becauses a feature request... It's only been 3 years now
