RE: thread1329-1689765
Hi I've been through the rebuilding the defaulted embedded voicemail system Today! Thankfully I've only got two multi level auto attendants, several RADs and only a handful of extension mailboxes.
Was contemplating restore of whole MCD until I found all Ports, Rads and Greetings are still there and I have spread sheet plans for the Auto Attendants.
I've rebuilt the Auto Attendants and if I could switch off the extension mailbox "welcome to your new mailbox" greeting I'd be complete, does anyone know if this is possible? The users names and greetings are still there but you can't switch off the tutorial and you can't go in and only change you password.

Thanks,
John.

You can capture the greetings via FTP, setup the mailboxes using the tutorial with blank greetings, then restore the Greetings via FTP.

I recently did this for 20 mailboxes and it took less than an hour.

As, I'm going to be away from my PC for a while here are some details.

I use Filezilla Client to access
Change directory to /vmail/d/vm (from /sysro)

The msg folder contains the greetings
the name folder contains the names

Copy them to your PC

Then run the tutorial on the mailboxes you want to restore such as the Menu Nodes
then restore the names and greetings.
