I have an opt 61c that I am trying to add ARD to PVR. I already have some of these circuits built but my vendor is not longer available. IPC came out and added another T1 block for ARD's. In MOPE I have cross connected from T1 position 1 to feed pair 131. At switch side I cross connected 4 0 2 0 to feed pair 131.
In programming I created:

Route 31 I did not change anything at this, because it was already built. Do I need to add anything?

At switch level I programmed key 13 pvr 4425.

what am I missing? When I touch key 13 the arrow show but no ringing sounds or connection.

I did install a new truck card at 4 0 2 ... I did not do anything for that programming except program the 4 0 2 0
I need to get this active any help and assistants would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Make sure you have dial tone at the block with a butt set on tn 4 0 2 0

I do not have dial tone or any noise at 4 0 2 0. Do I need to enable the new truck card? If so, how? Please help!
Thank you

Are you certain that the trunk that Telco provided is loop start and not ground start?

It is a T1 digital handoff to 66 blocks from IPC. Here is a copy of an a working, but I inserted a new card at 4 0 2

ok, if this one is working, can you draw dial tone on it from the block? If not, try via mtce set.

If you don't have dial tone at the block that is your problem

When I check to go truck Iget the ring down (like what suppose to happen)
How many truck can you do per card?
I would like to get this working,

8 trunks per card on a NT8D14 univ. trunk card. Your TN 4 0 2 0 should be on the white/blue of the 25 pair cable.

Card slot 4 0 2 should be the C cable on the I/O panel. Make sure the amphenol is plugged in good. Do you have other things working in loop 4 0?

As you know, there won't be dial tone - there should be immediate ring when you go off hook - and hopefully the otrher end is there to answer. If you get that at the wires from the channel bank (or whomever gave you the T1 full of ARDs) then you proved the line is good to the trading partner.

Put your toner on the trunk TN and see if you hear it on the phone when you press the key. If you don't, OUT the trunk and rebuild it on the next TN. If that does not woek, I like all the other posts better than mine.

You are right about Route 31 - you do not need to change it. If you do, all the other ARDs may stop working.

Thank you for all your assistants. I have it working now. Thank you for the advice with toner..... I check had good connection from switch, able to trace cable issue at T1 cross.

Thank you to all for your help and advice!

Just keep in mind that NT8D14 trunk cards are wired at the 66 blocks differently than your analog or digital line cards... so as you add more trunks - just be sure you're punching down in the right place. Not gonna give away the answers... RTFM, er... pull up the documentation.

Also, in LD 20, do a STAT 4 0 2 and see what comes back. If everything's disabled, you'll get nothing on the PVR key - so in that case, in LD 20 do an ENLC 4 0 2 to enable the card and an ENLU 4 0 2 0 to enable that TN.

If you're still running into problems, then you either have a bad port, or a bad card.

Thank you for the response and I do know the cross connect secret.
This issue was cross connect at T1 terminal.

Thank you all for the advice and knowledge.
