Vsta / IE8 / Frames refresh

Hi,

I done my update for windows vista. I get the new IE8 installed automatically. From the time I get this new browser, I constantly getting error on various web page. (my domain/ facebook/ and more).

Error Details :
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

When I get this error on a frame, I cannot RIGHT-CLICK and chose refresh like I usually can do to reload the page in the frame (like any browser) cause the page refreshed is the error message page and not the original URL. I need to right-click on that frame then chose back then refresh the frame!?

On my network I have couple machine with different OS and browser version. I tried the same web page on many machine to see if the problem is general. Just by leaving the page refresh itself, without touching anything. Internet Cable connection.


Here the time before the error appear :

Vista – IE8
6min

XP- IE7
2hours

Ubuntu - Fixer Fox
Never see it with firefox


The problem is that my website users getting more and more over Vista / IE8.
So I tried some patch regarding this issue. Increase the timeout delay in registry. Added a compatibility line on the webpage :
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7" />

but still getting this error within 10min …
Do you have any idea to solve this issue?

First,

I want to thank you for your response. I have looked at the links and I already visited that links before.

I know my english is not eazy to understand. What i'm planning to do is to build a web page using META-REFRESH in FRAMESET and give you the link. So every one can load it and see the error after couple of minute(self refresh).

This take 5 to 10 min only to IE under vista to (give the error) with a 60sec. meta-refresh.

I will post here again soon.

I don't think it's a general error. Even if you do that most people won't have any problem with it, as META-REFRESH is something broadly used.
