Win 2003 read only flag

All my folder have the readonly flag and I cant get rid of this. I try everthing. I went to MS KB Article id 256614 and still nothing. I even tried using the attrib command. Any help would be great.thanks guys

That is by design. You can ignore it as the files aren't really read only.

Thanks for the reply. My problem is ,I have a program that looks at that attribute and if it sees that flag I get permission denied. I need to remove this flag,all other os I have no problems
