I have a single Exchabge 5.5 server and a lot of Distribution lists, which i use to give rights to certain mailboxes and folders.

I have a problem with one of them!

When some of the Outlook clients look at the properties on this particular list, the owner and members are not showing at all?
On my own outlook client everything looks fine.

One of the clients who cannot see the owner/members of the DL belongs to the owner of the list!

I have tried to compare this list to other lists that the same owner CAN see, but i found no differences?

Does anyone have a clue?

There is an option on the Distibution list to hide the people in the list. Maybe someone played with it.

"In space, nobody can hear you click..."

Open the properties of the DL in Exchange Admin. Select the 'Advanced' tab, and check the box in the lower-left corner.

Sorry, but that is not it!
As i stated i my question, it is not all the Outlook clients who cannot se the members or owner of the list. Some of the clients including my own, have benn able to see the list, its members and its owner all the time!

Are there any other ideas?

I've had some similar problem with some Outlook2000 client with a different language set-up. One staff member was german and she changed the regional option. After this Outlook stop to show details of the GAL addresses.

Hope this help you.

It is the same regional setting all over.

But your suggestion actually helped ;-) it made me check one of the workstations involved in the problem, and now it is gone, vanished into thin air!?

I guess it had something to do with the directory service nigthly clean up or something?

Thanks anyway
