We have the following setup @ present.
One NT4 erver that is the Exchange 5.5, this server is also the PDC which users use for access rights, log on scripts, etc.

We want to take some of the pressure away from the Exchange with a new NT4 PDC.

This domain has been created and works alot better than previously using PolEdit, however we have issues with two elements.
1) Copying the profile from one server to another we loose all registry settings relating to Current User

2) When we try to access the mailbox from the new PDC, we get an error "Unable to open your mail box, you do not have permission to log in" relating to access rights.

For a test we have created a new mailbox on Exchange and pointed the Primary NT Windows Account to the new PDC, this worked fine. It seems to be a problem with existing mailboxes that have been used previously.

Any assistance would be gratefully received. JT

Try checking the primary windows NT account on the previously made mail boxes! Are they exactly the same as the NT accounts that are trying to access them now?

Is the old PDC a member server now, or is it a BDC or is it still existing as PDC?

If it is still a PDC, and you have made a new PDC, then we must be talking about 2 different domains?
