Windows 2000 wont sartup help! 1

Hello ppl. I have win2k professional and windows got crewed and I cant log to it. I ran the repair from setup and when Log On window appears and I enter administrator and password (local) It says "The system cannot log you on now because the domain (computer name) is not available.

I dont want to run setup from scratch because I will loose all data. I dont have the rescue diskette either. Is there a way to log to PC??

Please help!!

If this is a computer that is on a Network... possibly you've detached you NIC from the Network and it cannot find the PDC (Primary Domain Controller).

That did the trick, a star for you!!

And now I know that when installing Outlook98 on a W2K machine, ALWAYS choose 'Keep the newer file.'
